About this tour
Racha Yai (Raya Island) has some of the clearest water close to Phuket, and Coral Island is only 30 minutes from Chalong Pier. This day trip combines both, with plenty of free time and short boat rides, so it works well for families and first-time snorkelers.
Coral Island (Koh Hey)
The first stop is Coral Island, about 9 km off the southeast coast of Phuket. It is named after the reefs around it and has two main beaches, Banana Beach and Long Beach. Swim, relax on the white sand or try optional sea sports such as parasailing, banana boat, sea walking or driving a speedboat (not included in the price).
Snorkeling at Racha Island
Around midday the speedboat takes you to Racha Island. Depending on conditions you snorkel at Patok Bay, Lah Bay or Siam Bay, where the reef is full of colorful fish. Mask, snorkel and life jacket are included, and fins can be rented on board.
Lunch and Free Time
Lunch is a buffet with fresh fruit at a seaview restaurant on Racha Island. After lunch you have free time at Patok Bay to swim, sunbathe and relax before the ride back, with soft drinks and fruit served on the boat.
