Practical Tips
- Arrive 30 to 45 minutes before departure. You need time to find your operator, check in, and board.
- Bring your booking confirmation (printed or on your phone).
- Mornings can be hectic. Multiple tour groups and ferry passengers converge at the same time. Stay calm and follow signs.
- Watch your belongings. The pier area gets crowded. Keep valuables secure.
- Bring water and snacks for longer ferry journeys.
- Wear sunscreen even before boarding. You will be in the sun on the pier and boat deck.
Common Mistakes
- Going to the wrong pier. Phuket has several piers. Double-check your departure location.
- Arriving late. Boats leave on schedule. They will not wait for you.
- Not confirming which pier. Some tours say "Phuket pier" without specifying which one. Always ask.
